Leftfield Studio is an interior design and architecture firm located in Balaclava. They specialise in commercial, hospitality and residential spaces with simplicity, function and beauty in mind.

We developed a versatile visual language for Leftfield defined by playful geometric shapes that translate effortlessly across a variety of touch points.

When creating the visual identity, we were heavily inspired by the Bauhaus movement and the very fundamental principles of design.

Geometric forms are precariously placed to create a pattern but are also rearranged to spell out LFS, the company’s initials. This visual representation of the rearranging of shapes and patterns to create meaning embodies Leftfield’s mission: to create order and beauty from where there was none.

“We enlisted Painting Towns to create the brand identity and online presence for Leftfield Studio. The team have an unrivalled ability to transform thoughts into creative and I’m incredibly proud of the finished product.

The whole time were incredibly communicative, timely, flexible, receptive and professional. I’d absolutely recommend them.”
